Please welcome Emma, Jimmy, Rinke, and Zoë who are ready to research and write about all things Ethics and Policy. Emma Thomas

Emma Thomas is a rising junior majoring in Global Studies and Media and Journalism. With a minor in Social and Economic Justice, she is eager to explore the ethical implications of policy development and learning more about the legislative process with UNC Office of Ethics and Policy this summer.

Jimmy Mullen

Jimmy Mullen

James Mullen is a junior from Raleigh, NC who’s working towards a double major in Public Policy and Philosophy. In working with the Office of Ethics and Policy, he hopes to get to the heart of the policies that impact the Carolina community and is excited to embrace the wonderful experiences that this internship has in store.

Rinke Dingemans

Rinke Dingemans

Rinke Dingemans is a junior from Leiden, The Netherlands, double majoring in Public Policy and Political Science with a minor in statistics. She’s thrilled to join the Office of Ethics and Policy and work on improving her research skills and learning more about policy making at Carolina.

Zoë Brockenbrough

Zoë Brockenbrough

Zoë Brockenbrough is a rising senior from Winston-Salem, NC, majoring in Global Studies and PWAD (Peace, War, and Defense) with a minor in PPE (Politics, Philosophy, and Economics). She’s excited to join the Office of Ethics and Policy and is looking forward to conducting research and collaborating with others to help create policies here at UNC-Chapel Hill.
