Jen DeNeal, Associate Director for Ethics and Policy, was one of three recipients of the 2021 Kay Winjberg Hovious Outstanding Forum Delegate Award, given annually to Employee Forum delegates who go above and beyond the call of duty in service to the Forum. Elected to the Forum in 2019, DeNeal is a member of the Forum’s Executive, Community Service, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committees, and has served as the Chair of the Carolina Blood Drive Planning Committee since the summer of 2020.

About Kay Wijnberg Hovious
Kay Wijnberg Hovious, the first Employee Forum Chair, was instrumental, along with Chancellor Paul Hardin, in establishing an official organization for staff employees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in March 1992.
